I believe I was called by God to RMTC. It is the only explanation I have for moving from WA state to Great Falls, MT. I knew nobody when I moved here with my wife and daughter. I now call RMTC my family and couldn
t imagine being anywhere else. I have been in recovery for 14 years. I chose to become a Counselor after going through treatment and being clean for a year. I continue to attend NA meetings and work a program. The disease of addiction and has taken two of my siblings and continues to be a battle for some. I have always had a passion for helping others and my experience with my own addiction has provided the first-hand wisdom of what it takes to live a life in recovery. I have been working as an LAC for the last 13 years.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I also enjoy family visiting from out of town which happens frequently. I am an avid reader in my spare time and enjoy all kinds of books but I am usually drawn to spiritual literature. I practice prayer and meditation regularly which brings me great peace. I enjoy writing about spiritual matters and mindfulness practices.
